Why this exists.
The idea
Winter Arc is a tracker for the winter challenge: seven commitments, one square per day, and a card worth posting at the end of it.
It started because every tracker worth using wanted an email address before it would let anyone tick a box. This one asks for nothing. You can open it and start in about twenty seconds.
How it works
Your Arc is stored in your browser, not on a server. There is no account, no database holding your habits, and nothing to leak. Adding a backup later is optional and exists only so your streak survives a new phone.
The share cards are made in your browser too — the whole thing is static files, which is why it loads fast, works offline once installed, and costs nothing to run.
The graph
One square per day, six shades. Miss a day and the gap stays there — you cannot back-fill it, and that is deliberate. A gap should say “you missed a day”, not “you failed”. The next filled square is the comeback.
It is free, and stays free
No subscription, no paid tier, no adverts. It costs almost nothing to run precisely because it does not store your data.
